  • Full-time (0.6 – 1.0 FTE negotiable), twelve (12) month fixed term contract
  • Commencement Salary: $90,234 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Director of the Rosemary Bryant AO Research Centre, this role will manage the business and general operational and administrative activities of the Australasian Nursing and Midwifery Clinical Trial Network (ANMCTN). Working in conjunction with the ANMCTN governance committees the Coordinator plays a key role in the implementation, execution and review of the three-year plan of the ANMCTN.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and review of the Clinical Trials Network (CTN) three-year plan
  • Manage the budget in consultation with the Chair, this will include preparing the annual operating budget and providing regular financial reports
  • Manage Committee meetings by working with the Chair to develop the agenda and coordinating all logistical arrangements and communications pre and post meetings
  • Design and implement appropriate quality management policies, plans and processes to ensure quality is always embedded in the practice of the CTN
  • Contribute to the development of funding strategies and growth initiatives to support the conduct of the CTN

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in a scientific, analytic, or nursing and/or midwifery discipline
  • Sound understanding of clinical research processes, with Good Clinical Practice (GCP)/clinical trial experience
  • Experience in healthcare delivery, health management and/or health advocacy
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain productive consultative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • A proven track record in delivery of strategic objectives, including development of relevant policies and procedures
