About the Role

The role of Contract Supervisor, Campus and Asset Services at Swinburne University of Technology involves managing the operational aspects of contracts and services within the Campus and Asset Services department. This includes overseeing supplier compliance, reporting on performance and expenditure, managing the Campus and Asset Service Desk, and ensuring service requests are handled in accordance with the outlined contracts.

The Contract Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective service delivery within the department.

About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Monitoring and reporting on facilities related service contracts, tracking costs against available funds.
  • Conducting research and data analysis on preventative and reactive maintenance for campus infrastructure, including preparing regular detailed business reports and making recommendations.
  • Implementing changes for preventative and reactive maintenance to meet stakeholder requirements, creating efficiencies, reducing costs, and position the University to cope with future demands and expectations.
  • Working closely with procurement partners to support the procurement process by helping to define specifications, developing, and maintaining service level standards, and negotiating contracts with external service providers, as required.
  • Overseeing compliance and quality assurance in line guidelines, policy and statutory obligations.

Qualifications
A degree with subsequent relevant experience in Accounting or Business management, or any other relevant discipline; or equivalent combination of relevant experience in contract management and/or education/training.
