*(HEW 8 $109,837 - $125,755  or HEW 9 $127,682 - $135,33) depending on experience and accountabilities

As a member of the Leadership and Organisational Development team you will take a proactive approach to identify, design and deliver programs and projects stemming from Deakin’s People Strategy, with the goal of building inspiring leaders, capable people, engaged teams and ensuring the sustainable design of the university’s workforce. 

As part of the team you will: 


  • Drive and implement leadership and organisational development initiatives and programs through stakeholder consultation, data analysis and innovative solutions 

  • Enhance our workforce capabilities and engagement through continuous improvement of systems and tools. 

  • Foster service excellence, prioritise customer satisfaction, and implement effective improvement strategies. 

  • Develop top-notch programs leveraging leadership and organisational development principles. 

  • Showcase strong program management, system skills, and exceptional communication abilities. 

  • Coach team members for growth, providing balanced feedback tailored to individual and team needs. 


To be successful, you’ll have:  


  • Postgraduate qualifications, extensive relevant experience, management expertise, or equivalent combination 

  • Proven expertise to successfully implement and facilitate leadership and organisational development programs and initiatives. 

  • Expert knowledge of systems, process and business improvement capabilities 

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively design, develop and implement programs across an organisation 

  • Extensive project management experience
