- Commencement Salary: $84,539 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)
About the Role
As the Consultant: Employee Relations you will provide expert advice, service and support to the Employment Relations (ER) team, managers and staff across a broad range of contemporary ER functions. You will manage sensitive employee relations cases, undertaking investigations and coaching managers on early intervention strategies.

Core Responsibilities
- Provide advice on the application of employment legislation, workplace agreements, awards, case law, University policies, and procedures
- Manage sensitive employee relations cases
- Preparation of reports, correspondence and written advice
- Contribute to the implementation of key industrial agreements (Enterprise Agreement) and University strategic directions
Essential Skills and Experience
- Specialist experience working in Human Resources or Industrial Relations
- Experience in the provision of internal consultancy services with a strong customer service focus
- Experience in managing human resource or employee relations matters including underperformance and grievances
- High level problem solving and analytical skills including the ability to understand and apply industrial instruments and analyse HR Data
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and communication skills
