About the Role
The Manager, Community & Engagement (Activations) is responsible for consistency of meaningful and effective engagement across events and activations designed and delivered by Advancement. The position collaborates, partners, and works alongside event owners to ensures that all engagements are aligned with the Advancement Strategic Plan and delivered according to the Advancement Engagement Strategy and Event Management Framework. This includes providing guidance, coordination and hands on project management and delivery of flagship event activities supporting philanthropic development, donor stewardship, and alumni engagement. The Manager will also provide strategic support and advice to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders who take responsibility for hands-on event delivery.

The Manager, Community & Engagement (Activations) is responsible for exercising independent judgement in prioritising and focusing their work to support the delivery of a high-quality, measurable annual events and activation program. They must be an exceptional project manager, collaborator, and demonstrate high-level problem-solving skills, sound judgement and discretion in solving operational problems and management internal and external relationships.

NOTE: This position is based at the ANU Acton Campus. The successful candidate will need to be available to occasionally work evenings or on weekends. Domestic and international travel may also be required.
