About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Communications Coordinator who is passionate about maximizing the reach and impact of video and media projects. As part of our creative team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate on communication initiatives, craft compelling content, and execute effective communication strategies. Join us in building awareness of our work within the University community, engaging with internal stakeholders, and creating engaging social media content that conveys our diverse range of projects and programs. This role offers a chance to make a significant impact and contribute to the success of our team. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Write, edit, publish, monitor, and optimise media content, including video and images for use in a variety of digital channels including web and social media, that comply with content strategy and communication plans for the Video and Media team 
  • Support the advancement of Video and Media to help promote service offerings among clients, partners and stakeholders and ensure consistency in terms of voice, branding, messaging, and frequency of posting via digital channels 
  • Contribute to and execute communication strategies  
  • Organise internal and external events to promote key messaging  

Who we are looking for
We are seeking an individual who excels in customer relationship management and embraces a continuous improvement mindset. With your creative communication skills and efficiency in both written and verbal expression, you will thrive in this role. As a team player, you collaborate effectively while also demonstrating the ability to work autonomously and take initiative. 

You will also have: 

  • Qualifications in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training 
  • Demonstrated copy/content writing and editing skills ensuring clear, simple and consistent messaging, particularly for online channels 
  • Previous experience in effectively using digital marketing as a communication tool  
  • Experience in website management, branding and design
