The Position
The Communications Officer will promote and support industry, government, alumni and potential student engagement with the School, ranging from promotion of research activities, capability and achievements, to opportunities for prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students.

The Communications Officer will be a member of Research School of Earth Sciences  (RSES). RSES is Australia’s leading academic research institution for Earth and Marine Sciences, and ranked 11th in the world for Earth and Marine Sciences (QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023 ). The Person
To excel in this role you will have a degree in marketing and/or communication, experience with digital and traditional marketing, specifically online advertising in social media, search engine marketing and website development and maintenance. Your ability to lead by example, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, will enable you to foster respectful and productive working relationships with staff, students and colleagues at all levels within RSES in line with the RSES Culture Statement .
