Great opportunity for a marketing all-rounder

Help support the journey to tertiary study through high-quality communications and marketing activities. Contribute to strategic stakeholder engagement in an established, non-profit organisation.

Working under general direction, the Communications and Marketing Officer is responsible for supporting the effective delivery of SATAC’s Marketing and Communications Strategy and the review, preparation, and production of SATAC’s publications, including print, web, and social media. The position is responsible for the provision of high-level advice and will support maintaining key relationships.

The incumbent will have a keen understanding of applicant markets and contribute to a customer focused brand as well as driving proactive business improvement initiatives that enable the applicant journey through SATAC.

To be successful you will need:

  • Experience in writing for social media, campaign activities, and online customer facing materials. 
  • Experience maintaining websites including the use of Content Management Systems and knowledge of HTML.
  • Experience preparing content for print and online and a well-developed understanding of the production process. Familiarity with Adobe creative suite, especially InDesign, is highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple tasks, implementing plans to achieve defined outcomes, and solving problems in an innovative and creative manner.
  • High level presentation skills across all media including face to face and online in a culturally diverse environment.

The South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC) Limited provides reliable, efficient, and innovative tertiary admissions services to its member institutions and on a fee for service basis to other tertiary education institutions in South Australia and the Northern Territory.

SATAC manages centralised application and admissions processes on behalf of its members and participating fee for service institutions, as well as administering admissions aptitude tests, providing publication and research services, and acting as a one-stop shop for queries regarding application processes and outcomes.
