The Communications and Marketing Officer is part of the Communications and Marketing (CMK) team and is responsible for supporting several marketing functions, including content development, producing print and other communications materials and web copy updates, and event delivery, as well as providing marketing administration such as managing an asset bank of digital resources.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop content for a range of purposes
  • Support the CMK team access marketing requests and monitor project plans to ensure deadlines are achieved
  • Process agreed advertisements, sourcing relevant photography, editing of text and electronic management approvals
  • Maintain a library of digital resources for supporting print and advertising campaigns
  • Support and formulate content of social media advertising and distribution

Essential Skills and Experience
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills
  • High-level organisation and administrative skills, including experience in working to tight deadlines and the capacity to manage multiple projects with limited supervision
  • Experience in the production of marketing publications and advertising for a wide range of audiences
  • Post-secondary qualifications in marketing, public relations, communications or related discipline or demonstrated equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
