  • $82,125 - $88,607 pro rata plus 17% superannuation

About the position

The Olga Tennison Autism Research Centre (OTARC) is looking for a part-time Communications and Graphic Design Officer to join our engagement team. Reporting to the Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Manager, you will create, manage, and produce digital design solutions for a variety of uses, develop print and digital communications assets that support and contribute to OTARC strategic and operational plans, contribute content to communications outputs for targeted audiences, and develop and contribute to communications produced jointly with other University stakeholders.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have;

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in using Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere.
  • Practical and demonstrated understanding of HTML and CSS to deliver bespoke websites
  • Understanding of cloud platforms Google, AWS, Azure in the delivery of websites, mobile applications, and online learning.
  • Demonstrated experience in event management, including promotion and implementation.  
  • Strong interpersonal skills including ability to negotiate, motivate, influence, and build relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities and monitor workflows within own area of responsibility.
