  • Salary: $86,230 - $94,800 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

About You 

You are an experienced communications and events professional with experience in coordinating activities and communications for a broad range of projects. You can build strong professional relationships and deliver solutions through creative, logical and innovative thinking and consultative decision making. 

About the Role 

Reporting to the Senior Manager: DAIRNet and working with relevant committees, you will be responsible for the coordination and communication relating to a wide range of Defence Artificial Intelligence Research Network (DAIRNet) initiatives. You will identify potential opportunities to promote DAIRNet activities and will assist in the maintenance and development of marketing collateral such as the website, social media and information packs.

Essential Skills and Experience 

  • Tertiary qualifications and relevant experience in marketing, communications, event management or demonstrated equivalent experience 
  • Experience working in a senior event management position that involved the conception and implementation of events for a wide range of audiences 
  • High-level verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including experience in the delivery of presentations to a broad cross section of internal and external stakeholders 
  • Organisational and project management skills and experience in managing multiple priorities and projects within tight timelines and in a complex environment 
  • Experience analysing and interpreting marketing campaign data and statistics and preparing marketing reports
