  • Fixed-term, full-time parental leave replacement from 1 July 2024 to 8 August 2025. This temporary role can be offered as a fixed-term appointment (external applicants) or as a secondment opportunity (UNE current staff)
  • $92,970 to $104,094 per annum (HEO7)
  • Plus 17%employer superannuation
  • Salary packaging options are available
  • 5 weeks annual leave plus Christmas week shutdown, per annum
  • Flexible work arrangements negotiable

About the role

The Communications and Engagement Officer provides communications and media relations support and advice to the university's Faculty of Science, Agriculture, Business and Law (SABL). You will work with Faculty and industry stakeholders to identify, develop and share the stories of SABL staff, students, alumni, research and achievements, across traditional and social media, with the support of specialist media, communications and social media staff you'll work alongside in the Corporate Communications and Events team.
