About the Role 
Join the dynamic Communications and Media team at Swinburne University as a Communication Advisor, where you will play a key role in supporting the University's goals by producing compelling and accurate communications for both internal and external audiences.

Working closely with team members, communications professionals and stakeholders across Swinburne’s dynamic service and business areas, you will utilise Swinburne’s enterprise communications platforms (Campaign Monitor, Terminalfour, Confluence/Atlassian, Adobe Experience Manager and Viva Engage), and have the opportunity to conceputalise, plan, create, edit and publish engaging and rich media content across multiple channels.

About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Excellent content production and editing skills combined with an ability to work under time pressure to produce high quality communications materials.
  • Previous experience in a communications, marketing, journalism or social media role.
  • Demonstrated experience in formulating and implementing communications plans, their content strategy, through to execution.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of email communications services and using data to improve the process and performance of communications activities.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and analyse emerging organisational challenges/opportunities and their communications needs.

Qualifications
  • A degree in marketing/media and communications or related fields with relevant experience in corporate/internal communications, PR, media; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
