About the position

Reporting to the Director, Precinct Development & Operations this position will support, facilitate and co-ordinate the onboarding and management of clients and co-located partners at the various precincts in La Trobe.

The Co-Ordinator, Precinct Development & Operations will also engage with internal stakeholders and external clients to provide a single point of contact to manage the requirements of the clients in line with the executed lease and service agreements.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have;

  • Minimum Degree in Engineering / Construction / Building Management / Real Estate / Facilities Management or other equivalent qualifications.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience preferably in operations management or exposure to managing food or wet R&D laboratory or pilot plant facilities.
  • Excellent knowledge in Building Maintenance, Property Management and Mechanical / Electrical Systems.
  • Conversant with current Codes of Practice, requirements of regulatory authorities and building regulations in (preferable).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, management and organization skills
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Adaptable and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment managing change and ambiguity.
  • Exposure to working in PC2 or GMP certified facilities will be highly regarded.
