  • Share your clinical terminology expertise to make a difference in e-health
  • Bring your knowledge of FHIR, SNOMED, AMT to work
  • Join CSIRO’s AEHRC! A truly collaborative, flexible and inclusive workplace and make improvements to healthcare

The Australian e-Health Research Centre (AEHRC) is CSIRO’s national digital health research program, enabling the digital transformation of healthcare to improve services and clinical treatment for Australians and beyond.

We are actively seeking Clinical Terminologists to join our AEHRC team at CSIRO and there are currently three opportunities to pick from.

As a Clinical Terminologist, you’ll be responsible for creating, standardising and maintaining the SNOMED CT Australian extension, Australian Medicines Terminology (AMT) and other terminology content for use, and to facilitate the safe and accurate exchange of information across the health sector.

If you have expertise in clinical terminology, primarily AMT or SNOMED CT experience, or have expertise in FHIR terminology resources and SNOMED CT experience and are enthusiastic about making a hands-on contribution to delivering solutions that can be used across multiple projects in an increasingly information-based industry, then do not hesitate to apply.

These opportunities come with a high degree of flexibility in working arrangements from home and office and have the option to be either Sydney or Brisbane based.

The common duties across the three positions are listed below. There are slightly different selection criteria for each position. Review the attached position description of each of the positions on this job advert before applying.
