About the role 

The overall purpose of the Clinical Supervisor is to provide supervision of the teaching clinic and placement activities of the College of Sport, Health and Engineering. Key components of this role include student supervision in the clinic, site visits, administration of placement contracts and other associated regulatory processes. 


This is a full-time, ongoing position at a HEP 6, $82,372 - $89,161 + 17% superannuation classification working 36.75 hours per week. 

Duties 

 An example of duties you may perform will include: 

  • Undertake clinical supervision shifts within the Victoria University Clinical Exercise Rehabilitation (VUCER) clinic  
  • Administration of external placement contracts and agreements using appropriate VU approved systems including risk management and professional readiness procedures (e.g. Police Checks) 
  • Oversee internal and external placement-related assessment of students, including provision of results and completion of clinical requirements for ESSA accreditation 

About You:

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor degree in Exercise Science or Clinical Exercise Physiology and a Masters degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology. They must be eligible for exercise science accreditation with Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA) as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist as well has having a current Working with Children’s Check, First Aid and CPR, and a Police Check. They will have demonstrated experience in apparently healthy or clinical supervision, including excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to offer appropriate support to students.
