About the opportunity
Clinical Research Nurse Team leader who will support clinical trial coordination and clinical services of selected commercially funded and investigator-led clinical research projects but will foremost be overseeing and managing the team of Clinical Research Nurses (CRNs) in the CTU. The position provides leadership and guidance in the day-to-day clinical services and care, as well as training for the CRNs in the CTU while supporting and reporting to the Clinical Trial Unit Operations Manager. Flexibility in working hours is a requirement of this role.

This is a fixed term (24 months), part time (60%) position based at the Gold Coast campus and it is expected that the successful candidate will be available to attend campus in person as a normal requirement of the role. Further, you may be required to work on either a temporary or an indefinite basis at any premises, which the University currently has or may subsequently acquire or at any premises at which it may from time to time provide services.

About you
holds a relevant nursing tertiary qualification with more than 5 years’ experience as a practicing registered clinical nurse. The successful candidate has extensive experience in all aspects of clinical trial coordination (e.g. conduct of study visits, data management, HREC submissions) and clinical services (e.g. ECG, Venepuncture, cannulation) and has additional experience in clinical managerial roles.Flexibility in working hours is a requirement of this role.

Salary range
Base Salary $108,928 (pro-rated) per annum. Salary package includes 17% employer superannuation $115,357 (pro-rated) per annum.
