Job Description

This is a part-time position at a HEP 7, $90,891 - $98,385 plus 17% superannuation, classification working 14.7 hours on two days per week over a continuing contract period.

About the role

The position works with the postgraduate psychology course team to organise, document and support student placement in our Clinical Psychology program. The position also contributes to the student placement experience in our VU Psychology Clinic.

About the person

  • You will be a registered psychologist with a masters in clinical psychology
  • You will have strong organisational and interpersonal skills
  • You will be interested in working in a dynamic team environment
  • You will be committed to contributing to the development of early career psychologist

Duties

An example of duties you may perform will include:

  • Initiate, co-ordinate and manage the administrative systems that enable the Placements of students in a timely and professional manner.
  • Advising students on their learning related needs and where required facilitating communication and or mediation between the student and the agency supervisor.
  • As part of the team, provide support to students engaged in practice in the VU Psychology Clinic.
