Position Overview
ANU has an international reputation for research and education relevant to the health and well-being of the population of Australia, as well as that of the developing world. This is achieved through discovery research, applied research in health service settings, research-led teaching in health and medical sciences, and the translation of research findings into practice and policy. The ANU College of Health and Medicine comprises the School of Medicine and Psychology, the John Curtin School of Medical Research and the National Centre for Epidemiology. These schools work together to deliver world-class research and education across the spectrum of medicine and health-related fields, working in partnership with the health sector at local, national and international levels.

The Clinical Education Officer reports to the Clinical Education Coordinator and Is located at the Canberra Hospital Campus. The role of the Clinical Education Officer is accountable for overseeing all matters relating to student placements and teaching across the Phase 2 program of the MChD. The role supports academics teaching within the program and Is responsible for scheduling teaching sessions and placements of Medical Students. The position will maintain a close working relationship with students, academic and professional staffing within the School, the College and the wider University, and must manage ongoing stakeholder relationships with medical practitioners who accept student placements.

Our ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate high level customer service and effective communication skills and proven ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
