About the opportunity:

As the Clinical Chair in Nursing, you will be working across the University of Canberra, ACT Health Directorate and Canberra Health Services (CHS) to translate evidence into practice, enhance research capability and advance our connection and collaboration with each other. This role offers you the unique opportunity to redefine the future of nursing and healthcare as we know it. To be considered eligible, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification/s (or equivalent) in nursing, including a Doctoral level qualification relevant to Nursing.
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Evidence of excellence in nursing education and PhD supervision
  • A track record commensurate with a professorial position in research grants and publications
  • Demonstrated ability to foster and facilitate research within and outside own areas of expertise
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and lead high performing teams to deliver agreed outcomes
  • A commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture in ACTHD, CHS and the University of Canberra
