Why Your Role Matters:

The Client Engagement Consultant role is critical to the business development and growth AGSM Short Courses . The core of the role revolves around proactively generating leads and sales to execute the Short Courses sales strategy. The AGSM Short Courses Portfolio is a market leading suite of leadership and executive development courses catering to the needs of individuals, teams, and organisations.

As part of a small and highly collaborative team, this role is responsible for the sales of a range of Short Courses in both a B2B and B2C setting. The Client Engagement Consultant has ownership of the client acquisition journey and ensuring AGSM Short Courses are part of the buyer consideration set by responding to enquiries, nurturing relationships with key clients, maximizing repeat business and securing new business to drive increased enrolment and revenue targets.

This role also has responsibility to maintain an extremely high level of customer service and works closely with the logistics delivery team to ensure the participants experience is seamless from enquiry to enrolment to participation.


Accountabilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients seeking to purchase an AGSM short course.
  • Identify and develop relationships with key decision makers to understand their development needs and grow their business with AGSM Short Courses.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of AGSM short course products and services, to effectively identify and support client needs.
  • Develop short course pathways to meet individual needs, capability frameworks and identify opportunities for repackage and reuse.
  • Re-engage course participants to understand their experience, build opportunities for repeat business and understand the buyer process to support future growth.
  • Provide superior customer service and experience, commensurate with the quality brand of AGSM.
  • Continually review and refresh the AGSM Short Course acquisition journey with the Head of Program Sales and Client Engagement team, to ensure short courses marketing and sales initiatives are reaching the right market segments.
  • Establish and utilise your LinkedIn network to connect with prospective client, and share AGSM short course content, thought leadership and news, to increase brand awareness and build a pipeline.

Skills and Experience:

To be considered you will hold Australian Working Rights or Australian Citizenship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this appointment.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of relevant education, training, or experience.
  • Extensive Sales and Account Management experience with a solution-focus and revenue driven approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and productively within a team, but also to take initiative and work independently while managing competing demands.
  • Advanced interpersonal and communication skills including written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to liaise with a diverse group of people from varying backgrounds and seniority.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.
  • Experience working with a range of computer systems and applications, including Microsoft Office and Client Relationship Management systems.
  • Experience in and a proven commitment to a high level of customer service and establishing long term relationships.
  • A dedication to customer experience, attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of tasks effectively.
