Services are provided by qualified clinicians and/or students who are supervised by registered health professionals. UniSA Health is a registered NDIS provider, with established adult rehabilitation services.

About the opportunity 


UniSA Health Clinics are seeking expressions of interest from qualified Speech Pathologists to join our expanding team of clinicians, to deliver quality Speech Pathology services to adults. 

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in a busy, multidisciplinary clinic in a tertiary education setting. UniSA Health will provide administration support, appropriate space, equipment, and consumables for services. Whilst this role is not student-facing, opportunities for engagement in student learning may arise in the future.

Skills and Experience

We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Speech Pathologist who is passionate about providing quality and client-centred care to our community. Experience working in the context of NDIS, working with an adult caseload, and are willing to work in a model that facilitates quality service delivery and when appropriate referral to student led services to optimise client funding options.  

This position would be well suited to clinicians looking to work in a supportive and collaborative environment alongside our multidisciplinary team of experienced allied health professionals.

  • Be a team player, and able to work well within a multi-disciplinary environment;
  • Work autonomously to provide speech pathology services for adults;
  • Be committed to the principles of continuous improvement, and willing to participate in their own ongoing education and development.

Essential criteria

We are looking for individuals who hold current accreditation with Speech Pathology Australia, Public Liability, Personal Accident, and Professional Indemnity insurance, National Police Check, DHS Working with Children Check, and an NDIS Worker Screening Check (if eligible). 

The hours available are flexible to suit your individual arrangements, with a minimum availability of 7.5 hours per week necessary.

Remuneration

As this is an independent contractor opportunity, remuneration will be a percentage share of billings.
