The School of Education and the Arts offers a wide selection of courses in the areas of education, digital media, professional communication, creative and performing arts, humanities, hospitality, early childhood, education support and visual arts. Study options range from short courses to certificate and diploma level courses along with a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and research higher degrees.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from appropriately qualified professionals to teach and tutor our students within the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Come and join a team of lecturers and teachers who are experts in their fields and work closely with industry and relevant networks to ensure that students receive relevant and up to date training to ensure they are graduate work ready.

The successful candidates will be a self-motivated and people-focused professional who gain job satisfaction from collaborating and cooperating with other business departments to achieve positive business outcomes. Resilience is key and the ability to work well within a changing environment.

This position will provide you with a unique opportunity to deliver quality learning services to domestic students studying both online and on-campus.

CQUniversity offers three terms of enrolment per year and casual academic staff are contracted based on student enrolments each term. We welcome your expression of interest as soon as possible, as we have casual work currently available.

• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Diploma of Vocational Education & Training (TAE50116) or higher (mandatory).
• 3+ years’ experience in a professional environment (mandatory).
• Experience teaching learning programs for classroom, industry, and online students (desirable).
