  • Employment Type: Casual (approximately 14 hours per week, for 8 weeks)
  • Remuneration Level: 6
  • Location: Kensington, NSW (the successful candidate will be required to work on-site/on campus)

This role will:

  • Provide administrative support for conferences, meetings and visiting researchers for the Laureate Centre for History & Population (in School of Humanities and Languages).

  • Support the implementation of project plans and schedules, as required

  • Provide assistance with budgeting and finance

  • Provide visitor management

  • Respond to queries from project teams and stakeholders

  • Report to the Centre Director, Scientia Professor Alison Bashford.

A person engaged is generally expected to have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience assisting with the development of project plans, objectives and documentation

  • Extensive computer literacy and skills in Microsoft Office applications and project related databases and management
