About the Role 

At Flinders University, we have multiple casual vacancies to join the Examination Invigilator team. These positions are suited to those who demonstrate exceptional customer and administrative service skills!

 

As an Examination Invigilator you will:

  • Assist in the effective and efficient operations of examinations, and in particular, the invigilation and supervision of students at examinations, as prescribed by the supervisor. 

  • Assist with associated processes and tasks in order to ensure compliance with University policy relating to conduct in examinations.

 

Examination Invigilators support the critical services required to ensure our students are afforded support and assistance during the examination process. The standard examination period is held in mid and end-of-year blocks.

 

About You 
You will be a confident communicator to interact effectively and sensitively with all levels of University staff, students and general public. Paired with your interpersonal skills, you will demonstrate a commitment to providing good customer service and contribute to the effective functioning of the Invigilator team. The ideal candidates will also demonstrate:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to understand and implement instructions.

  • The ability to use initiative and problem-solving skills. 

  • Basic to routine computer knowledge.

  • An awareness of manual handling principles.
