Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) at The University of Adelaide is seeking expressions of interest for a casual Customer and Event Administration Officer to join the team!

The Customer and Event Administration Officer is responsible for providing an efficient and effective front of house service to all education programs, events and functions within the PACE unit, and ensuring that service levels are of an exemplary standard.

Working under direction, the Customer and Event Administration Officer is also responsible for general administration duties to support PACE staff, customers, participants and students. When required the position will support broader PACE staff members and business development activities.

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating, scheduling, organising and reviewing events, programs and functions which support the delivery of a professional and positive service to a diverse range customers/participants and colleagues.
  • High level organisational, administrative and responsive customer service skills, including the ability to prioritise and manage work in a commercial and customer focused business.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating both verbally and in writing in a succinct and professional manner with the ability to prepare and present documentation.
  • Ability to develop procedures to support events and functions.
  • Experience in working with customised databases including data entry and producing reports, and the Microsoft Office suite of products.
