The School of Architecture and Civil Engineering is one of Australia's leading educators across the disciplines of Architecture, Construction Management, Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering.  The school offers a stimulating environment in which to work, and leaders within the school are dedicated to providing a rewarding work environment that recognises the contribution of all staff. 

We are seeking dedicated and passionate casual staff to assist with the delivery of our Semester 2 undergraduate and postgraduate courses, commencing 24 July 2023.

Application process:

• Are an Australian citizen or possess an eligible Australian work visa*

As a minimum requirement the applicant will need to have completed a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or be enrolled in their final year of a 4-year honours program such as a Bachelor of Engineering Honours degree

• Completion of a postgraduate qualification in a relevant field
• Teaching qualifications or formal training
• Previous experience with casual work within the School
• Demonstrated ability to educate and mentor students
• Evidence of good student feedback in student evaluations
• Evidence of good feedback from course coordinators

Please note that there are limited opportunities available. The University may be required to change teaching modes at short notice. There may be restrictions on face-to-face interactions with students and staff and these possible conditions may change the casual teaching support required.
