(HEO 5) $47.64 to $52.97 per hour plus an employer contribution of 10% superannuation will apply

Full-time, casual position available until December 2021

The Communications and Marketing Officer is a member of the Faculty of Sciences Marketing and Recruitment team responsible for domestic and international student recruitment activities and promotion of the Faculty’s teaching and research capabilities.

Working under general direction, the Communications and Marketing Officer works collaboratively with key stakeholders across the Faculty and University to deliver a wide variety of marketing and communications services. This position coordinates the production of digital and print-based marketing materials for prospective students and to promote our research discoveries and achievements to internal and external audiences.

To be successful you will need:

  • Experience in the development of marketing and communications materials including flyers, publications and media assets. Graphic design and experience with the Adobe Creative Suite is desirable.
  • Well-developed organisational and project management skills including the ability to prioritise between conflicting demands and to meet deadlines.
  • Proven copywriting skills for a range of audiences with high level editing and attention to detail.
  • Experience creating engaging content for marketing campaigns and materials across digital and print mediums.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and experience in building positive working relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
