Expression of Interest – Casual Tutors
School of Pharmacy and Pharmacology is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified applicants to support the delivery of learning and teaching in our Bachelor of Pharmacy.
They would need to be willing to provide casual assistance into the pharmacy practice, clinical pharmacy and therapeutics streams of the Bachelor of Pharmacy, assisting with tutorials/workshops/practicals.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current registration with AHPRA with a minimum of 2 years experience in pharmacy practice, clinical pharmacy and/or therapeutics
- Must be fully vaccinated (Covid) as this will require face-to-face teaching
- Ability to review responses to complex clinical cases and provide formative feedback to students drawing from professional experience
- Familiarity with academic writing and referencing, and ability to comment on the quality of academic writing of students and provide feedback for improvement where necessary
- The ability to provide formative feedback on student presentations on clinical topics
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work in accordance with university guidelines and policies; and the ability to work with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Highly Desirable:
- Prior engagement in teaching and assessing
