  • Seeking an expression of interest for an experienced E-Business Officer to support the staff at the Oral Health Care centre of WA (OHCWA)
  • Level 7 appointment on a casual basis
  • Hourly rate: $48.95 to $56.00+ 25% casual loading plus 11% superannuation

About the team

The Oral Health Centre is part of the School of Dentistry delivering specialist treatment to eligible patients from the Department of Health and providing suitable patients to the dental student’s programme.

The Oral Health Centre of Western Australia is a collaborative Centre and the primary focus for oral health education, research and specialist care delivery in Western Australia. The Centre will treat approximately 14,000 patients per annum and deliver several clinical and technical training programmes.

About the opportunity

  • Work with the School of Dentistry and OHCWA management to identify initiatives in information literacy and e-learning support and design, implementation and evaluation of information literacy, e-learning and other e-business initiatives across the School and OCHWA
  • Pro-actively liaise with IT special interest groups to understand emerging trends and to capture IT related ideas and innovation as they occur within the University and advise on professional development opportunities and initiatives for relevant local staff
  • Edit, design, update and improve the OHCWA/School’s website including website development, design and support for research and other projects within the School and OHCWA
  • Present courses in the School’s enabling programmes as required
  • Provide support for staff in relation to e-learning and other e-business systems

To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency
  • Relevant knowledge and experience in the design, development, implementation and evaluation of information technology and e-learning and other e-business materials and programmes
  • Ability to work flexibly in a rapidly changing environment, to apply acquired skills and knowledge to new situations and to handle a large volume of work in a limited time frame
  • Proficiency in a range of computing skills including the use of Microsoft 365, Teams and Sharepoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and to plan, organise and set priorities
  • A demonstrated client focus and excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Note: A Current First Aid Certificate is required.
