School of Nursing at Curtin

Curtin’s School of Nursing is the longest established school of nursing in the Australian university sector. From the time it opened 47 years ago, the school has been a key part of the University’s drive to be a leader in health sciences education and research. The school delivers a range of undergraduate courses in nursing, oral health therapy and paramedicine; and specialist postgraduate courses in areas ranging from diabetes and critical care to child health and midwifery.
About Your Role:
This casual position will play a vital role in supporting clinical education and development of future nursing professionals. This role will support students during their professional experience placement Students are from our Bachelor of Science (Nursing) and Graduate Entry Nursing Program.
 
In this role you will:

  • Provide support and guidance to students during their clinical placement.
  • Evaluate student performance through assessments.
  • Provide feedback to students on their performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other members of the School of Nursing team to ensure a high-quality learning experience for students.
Position Requirements:

Relevant qualification/s at the level equivalent to or higher than the level to be delivered.  


  • Current AHPRA registration and relevant industry experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback to students.
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical assessment

You will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role.
