South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC) seek expressions of interest for casual assessment officers
Casual Assessment Officers work under general direction as part of a team to process all incoming applications. They may also provide service to SATAC’s customers, providing information and enquiry services to applicants and other members of the public via telephone, in-person, email and/or other communication medium. From time to time, Casual Assessment Officers will also contribute to specific administrative and invigilation support duties.
Please note that the end of year period is SATACs busiest time of year and therefore these roles are not suitable for anyone with extended leave over this time.
To be successful in this casual opportunity you will need:
- Demonstrated ability to learn complex procedural and computer programs quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently apply analytical, observational and decision making skills in accordance with guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and complete tasks to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated customer service delivery, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience in working within a team and contributing to the achievement of shared goals.

Salary: (HEO4, Step 1) $42.49 / hours. As these are casual opportunities, hours may fluctuate
Superannuation: 9.5% applies

The South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC) Limited provides reliable, efficient and innovative tertiary admissions services to its member institutions and on a fee for service basis to other tertiary education institutions in South Australia and the Northern Territory.
SATAC manages centralised application and admissions processes on behalf of its members and participating fee for service institutions, as well as administering admissions aptitude tests, providing publication and research services, and acting as a one-stop shop for queries regarding application processes and outcomes.
