(HEO5) $72,832 to $80,983 pro-rata per annum plus an employer contribution of to 9.5% superannuation will apply.

The University of Adelaide Enterprise Agreement 2017-2021 will apply to a successful candidate’s employment at the University.  The University recently temporarily varied its Enterprise Agreement.  Please be advised that the salary range, along with other conditions associated with this position, may change in accordance with the variation to the Enterprise Agreement.

Part-time 0.5 FTE, fixed term position available until December 2021

This people-focused role will focus on identifying and connecting with industry leaders and students for career-building mentoring activities

The Careers Service assists students to learn the necessary skills to manage their career throughout life. It enables students to articulate their professional skills, values and graduate attributes while empowering them to compete globally in the labour market. This role will implement the 2021 programs and maintain a range of mentoring initiatives.

This role will be responsible for all project management aspects of the continuation of our “flagship Career Access Mentoring Program” which develops and supports relationships that span over several months between industry and students.  A flexible approach is required to identify new and creative ways to engage students and industry - both to improve the existing programs and consider new activities.

To be successful you will need: 

  • Proven ability to engage and communicate with a range of external and internal stakeholders.
  • High level project management skills with a focus on participant engagement.
  • Passion for supporting students and improving their ‘career confidence‘.
  • High level record keeping skills via a Client/Customer Relationship Management system.
