About the team  

The Careers and Employability Centre is responsible for delivery of professional, innovative career development, employability and employment services to all students at the University.

About the opportunity  

You will provide professional, efficient administrative support, assist with organisation and delivery of events, and help develop and maintain resources. The role encompasses direct contact with clients and working with staff within Student Services to assist students seeking to use the Careers and Employability services.

To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate: 

  • Year 12 or equivalent competency
  • Considerable relevant customer service and administrative experience at an appropriate level
  • High level of proficiency in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, web content management and email
  • Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills specific to client service delivery
  • Well-developed organisational skills and demonstrated attention to detail
  • Ability to manage a wide variety of tasks and to use initiative
  • Ability to make an effective contribution in a team environment
