CAD Administrator

The Centre for Automotive Safety Research is looking to employ a casual to assist with our Road Safety Innovation Fund Project for approximately 8 hours per week.

This role would be ideally suited to a 2nd year and above engineering student (or person with equivalent experience)

The successful candidate will be required to assist in the creation of site diagrams of vehicle crash scenes.  Crash scenes are scanned using a 3D laser scanner, exported as a 3D point cloud, then mapped using AutoCAD and Graphite (a Mac based basic CAD program).

Training will be provided, but prior experience with CAD programs will be highly regarded.

This role is available immediately until 31 December 2022.

The successful candidate should have a good eye for detail.

Whilst training will be provided, the following would be highly regarded:

  • Experience with CAD software
  • Experience with a Mac computer
