Generation STEM is a $25 million 10-year initiative which works with industry, government and education sectors to support, train and retain students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) career pathways in NSW.
Three programs are delivered as part of the initiative all of which aim to increase participation in STEM at different stages of the STEM pipeline with the priority of increasing participation from groups underrepresented in the STEM pipeline and from locations with growing STEM industries.
The Business Support Officer will support the development and implementation, and/or operational support of policies, IT systems and procedures that assist the Education and Outreach programs to achieve their objectives and meet Government and regulatory responsibilities- including Child Safety responsibilities.
The role will involve travel within NSW (predominantly Sydney) to support the program’s activities and events, including for information sessions, showcase events, expos and camps.
