Working at CQUniversity

A full time, continuing position has become available for an experienced administration officer to join the Counselling, Wellbeing and Safer Communities team at CQUniversity at our Rockhampton, Bundaberg or Mackay campuses. 

 

In this position you will provide quality, professional business support to the Counselling, Wellbeing and Safer Communities team management including acting as a point of contact between the Chief Wellbeing Officer and clients. You will develop and implement effective administrative workflows and processes to ensure the smooth running of the office, ensuring all priorities and deadlines are met. 

 

You will bring to this position your skills and experience in providing effective business support to senior management, strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, with a focus on the provision of quality customer service.

 


Position Requirements

 

  • Demonstrated knowledge or ability to quickly acquire knowledge of University policies and procedures.
  • Proficient in the operation of computers including detailed knowledge of business support software and large corporate information systems.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience providing business support services, including collation of data and report writing, to senior management.
  • Proven ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision including researching and preparing detailed documentation, attending to matters on behalf of a manager, providing secretarial and committee secretary support and providing support and advice to others.
  • Proven ability to operate in a cooperative and collaborative team-based environment, including contributing to the achievements of team goals, KPIs, and project outcomes.
  • Proven communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills that demonstrate a strong focus on the provision of quality customer service.
