About the team: the Business Development division leads the development and stewardship of relationships with industry, the not-for profit sector, governments and communities that materially benefit the reputation and/or financial position of the University. The division also supports the University’s goals and objectives in the leadership and co-ordination of business development and innovation across the University.

About the Faculty: the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences comprises five schools and a number of Research Centres located on the Crawley campus, at the QEII Medical Centre, within a range of teaching hospitals throughout the metropolitan area and in regional, rural and remote Western Australia. Its activities in teaching and research cross all of the clinical and biomedical disciplines. The Faculty is affiliated with a number of high profile research centres and institutes and works with a large range of industry, government and not-for-profit partners.

About the opportunity: reporting to the Associate Director, Business Development (Industry), you will work closely with the Faculty leadership team to manage a program of business development and industry engagement projects from identification, initiation, implementation and review. You will work collaboratively with other professional support teams including research development, development and alumni relations and research commercialisation to develop new projects that materially benefit the reputation and/or financial position of the University.
