Iluka Resources is an international mineral sands company with expertise in exploration, development, mining, processing, marketing & rehabilitation.  Iluka’s corporate offices are located in the CBD of Perth where this role will be based with some travel to operating or processing sites as required.

Role Description

Assisting IT project managers with functional & technical requirements gathering, solution analysis, business process engineering, solution testing, configuration & deployment activities.  This would be within a team of 4 project managers supporting ~20 concurrent projects.

Additionally there will be opportunities to periodically assist on the IT service desk and provide administration assistance within the cyber security team with a focus on user account recertification and documentation.

Required Business Skills and Knowledge:

• Good communication skills - both written and spoken
• Ability to analyse detail / business process analysis
• Work closely with project managers & project teams
• Knowledge of project management principles

Desired Business Skills:

• Flexible "can-do' approach, and desire to improve personally and professionally
• Business Analysis experience advantageous

You must be studying toward a tertiary qualification in Computer Science / Information Technology Information Systems / Management Information Systems

This internship amounts to $19,000 tax-free for a Postgraduate working full-time for 6 months, (4 days per week availability will be considered).
