Overview

Are you an experienced business analyst with skills in learning management systems?  Join our HR team and lead the implementation of our newly acquired LMS!

The Human Resources Services Centre (HRSC) at Edith Cowan University provides HR specialist advice and support to all schools and professional areas (the internal stakeholders) and consists of five teams: HR Services (operational), HR Partnerships (HR Business Partners), Work Health and Safety, Employee Relations and Workforce Strategy and Capability. The Human Resources Services Centre encompasses a range of functions to enable the University to effectively achieve its strategic priorities.

You will work closely with a range of stakeholders including Digital Campus Services and a team of skilled practitioners developing and delivering learning programs for ECU staff.

The Role

The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that the Learning Management System is functionally configured and implemented in a way that maximises the capabilities of the system and ensures the best end-user experience.

The primary responsibilities of this position are to:

  • Apply appropriate methodologies to analyse requirements, research and present options and design, develop and implement solutions that deliver business benefits that meet the technical requirements of the system and ensure a good end-user experience.
  • Guide and assist business areas in applying a structured approach in the implementation of processes and activities associated with the LMS or other related undertakings. 
  • Participate in the planning, reporting and communication of initiatives related to the implementation of the LMS or other related activities. 

Key Criteria

To be successful in the role you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Relevant experience in the delivery of technology in a manner that delivers a user-centric product. 
  • The ability to investigate, identify and evaluate business requirements, identify issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.  
  • The ability to organise and present information, views and concepts in a concise, understandable and interesting format for a variety of audiences, from ECU’s internal and external communities.

This position attract remuneration of $106,887 – $120,376 PA plus up to 17% University superannuation contribution.
