- Engage in new formulation development and formulation screening capabilities
- Work within a supportive, rewarding, and collaborative team environment
- Join CSIRO - Australia's National Science Agency
Many of CSIRO's innovations were once considered impossible. Fast WiFi, Aerogard insect repellent and the plastic Australian banknote, to name a few. Until someone, just like you, joined us and took on the challenge. We’re recruiting inventors, innovators and change makers. Join Team CSIRO and help make the impossible possible.
CSIRO’s Biomedical Manufacturing (BMM) Program harnesses, develops, and deploys leading edge science and technology for advanced manufacturing of new-generation pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, vaccines, and biotherapeutics. This program is enabling medical providers in Australia and around the globe to better prevent, detect and treat a wide range of disease conditions, as well as enhancing the health and wellbeing of all Australians. There is an opportunity for an experienced Biologics Formulation Scientist to join this cutting-edge and collaborative team.
In this role you will collaborate in scientific and technological activities with other research staff by assisting with detailed planning and undertaking of experimental, observational or technology development work. You will contribute to developing new formulation development capabilities and support systematic formulation research studies at the beginning of the development program for a new medicine. As a member of the Biologics R&D Group you will work closely together with Regulated Biomanufacturing Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Downstream processing teams to ensure that the formulation administered in the Toxicology and Phase 1 of both human and veterinary clinical trials will be safe and effective.
This is an exciting opportunity for a formulation scientist to join a world leading scientific team working at the forefront of pharmaceutical, diagnostic and biotherapeutic research and development. If you’re an industrially trained formulation scientist with prior technical experience in biologics formulation development then apply now!
