The Finance Department is currently seeking an experienced individual to join the team. The successful candidate will be highly organised professional with excellent communication skills.

 

As a Banking and Reconciliations Officer, you will be responsible for the recording of transactions deposited into the University Bank Account and assist with the identification and matching of transactions through the University Bank Account and Finance systems. You will provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers and provide overall support to the wider Finance Operations Team.

Position Requirements

 

  • Completion of Year 12 with relevant work experience; or equivalent relevant experience or combination of relevant experience and education/training.
  • Knowledge of accounting procedures, including knowledge of accounts, receivable and reconciliation processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and provide a high level of professional customer service with staff and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Providing a range of financial and administrative support services including banking functions, in particular bank reconciliation processes.
  • Ability to use large corporate accounting systems and business support software.
  • The ability to analyse and identify financial discrepancies and the ability to solve problems.
