About the School

The School of Health Sciences is educating tomorrows graduates in an environment that is contemporary, challenging, and adaptive to a rapidly evolving world. Our teaching programs are intrinsically interdisciplinary, and cover a broad range of professional and other disciplines in the clinical and non-clinical health sciences, and in sport-related disciplines. These areas are underpinned by a strong focus on research and research led teaching, and involves partnerships with a range of external organisations. Our programs include undergraduate degrees, Honours degrees, coursework Masters programs, and higher degree research programs (Masters and PhD).

The School of Health Sciences leads research to advance fundamental; knowledge, enhance professional practice, and to contribute to the broader development of our region, Australia, and internationally in the areas of health, sport, and exercise sciences.

About You and the Role

We are seeking a forward thinking, dynamic, and innovative scholar to take on a role at the level of Associate Professor (Level D) or Senior Lecturer (Level C) and provide general and high-level academic leadership within the physiotherapy field.

You could be considered for a role in leading our physiotherapy program.

You will have expertise and experience in broad areas of physiotherapy education and will have experience in one or more sub-discipline areas of physiotherapy. 

You will be involved in a range of academic activities including the further development, implementation, and teaching of the Physiotherapy program and will be expected to conduct research (including gaining nationally recognised research grants) and supervise undergraduate (Honours) and postgraduate (Masters and PhD) students in your area of expertise.


The position is based at the Campbelltown campus however multi-campus activities requiring travel between campuses and clinical sites may be required.

Remuneration Package:

Academic Level C - $159,423 to $182,877 p.a., (comprising Salary of $134,850 to $154,896 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading).
Academic Level D - $190,689 to $209,441 p.a., (comprising Salary of $161,573 to $177,601 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading).
