Overview

The School of Medical and Health Sciences at Edith Cowan University (ECU) offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees.  Academics in the School are involved in research and teaching relating to a wide range of allied, public and occupational health disciplines.

ECU is currently seeking an experienced Associate Professor (Level D) for a flexible position up to 1.0 FTE. This position offers excellent opportunities for an experienced academic to demonstrate teaching and research leadership in Nutrition and Dietetics.

Requirements

You will be required to provide discipline leadership, coordinate and teach units at the postgraduate level and contribute to research and scholarship in Nutrition and Dietetics.

The ideal candidate would have:

  • PhD
  • Membership of Dietitians Australia and recognised as an Accredited Practising Dietitian.
  • Evidence of leadership in research and/or teaching.
  • Significant research experience in relevant field/s.
  • Experience in coordination and teaching of units in undergraduate or post graduate Nutrition and Dietetics.

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence and Courage.

Benefits & Remuneration

This ongoing position attracts a salary of $149,267 - $164,111pa (Associate Professor ALEVD paid on pro-rata basis if part time//) plus 17% University superannuation contribution. Hours are negotiable and appointment can be made at full time, or on a part time basis.
