The Opportunity

Join the forefront of innovation in education and become a key player in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, part of Australia's #1 Engineering Faculty. We are on the lookout for a visionary Associate Professor, with a specific interest in Biomedical Engineering. 

As the successful candidate you will serve as a discipline leader in the research and education of biomedical engineering that push the boundaries between engineering and medical science. This could include cardiovascular fluid mechanics, implantable or external medical device design, simulation and modelling, advanced manufacturing, software development, tissue engineering and medical robots. 

To be successful in this role, you have a doctoral qualification in the relevant field, and recognised experience in the discipline. You will have a strong publication record in high-quality journals & a successful track record in obtaining external research grants.
