Salary package: $125,186- $131,167 per annum plus 17% superannuation

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and highly motivated professional to manage the day-to-day operations of the Sir Roland Wilson Foundation. A joint initiative of the Commonwealth Government, The Australian National University (ANU) and Charles Darwin University (CDU), the Foundation builds public policy capability and leadership through postgraduate scholarships, professional development,and networking opportunities.

The Foundation is looking for a strong all-rounder: someone with broad public sector management experience and highly developed administrative and project management skills, coupled with a high level of emotional intelligence, and outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills.

The position is also being offered as a two - year secondment / LWOP arrangement (depending on the preference of the agency). Salary (APS EL1/EL2 equivalent) and superannuation will be funded by the Foundation for the duration of the secondment.

You will be responsible for developing and coordinating all programs of work for the Foundation, including overseeing the day-to-day management of the scholarship programs, providing high quality, professional support and advice on all strategic and operational aspects of the Foundation’s work, and developing and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders from across academia and the public sector.

Working from the Sir Roland Wilson Building on the ANU campus in Acton, Canberra, this role would suit someone who enjoys and has had extensive experience in working effectively across the public sector to drive the development of evidence-based public policy and capability and leadership, whilst possessing highly developed interpersonal skills required to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders external to the University; including the Australian Public Service Commission and Agencies as well as the Foundation Board.
