About the Role 

The Associate Director, International Recruitment will oversee the University's international student recruitment efforts, working closely with the Director, International Recruitment and Admissions. 

You will be responsible for creating, implementing, and reviewing the annual recruitment plan to meet student and revenue targets for Melbourne campuses. The Associate Director will manage agent activities, including procedures, training, and network development, both locally and internationally. They will also lead in-country representatives, ensuring operational effectiveness, delivery of work plans, and adequate training.

About You  
To be successful in this role, you will require the following expertise:

•    Lead a high performing international recruitment team to achieve annual key performance indicators.
•    Lead change through influence, focusing team efforts on delivering business value and enhancing the customer experience.
•    Build capability and manage talent within the team to support growth and succession planning through the University’s activities and frameworks, including performance and development, culture, and engagement.
•    Establish and maintain a profile within the University as the international student recruitment expert and represent the University at appropriate external forums and meetings.
•    Lead the direction of the business unit by leading the planning and development of recruitment workload, priorities, resourcing, and processes.
•    Develop, deliver, and evaluate Swinburne’s annual international student recruitment strategy.

Qualifications
•    A relevant postgraduate qualification in business marketing or sales management and extensive relevant experience in providing advice to senior management, and/or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
•    Proven strategic, analytical, and conceptual skills with the ability to structure and convert strategies into compelling and achievable work programs.
