About the Role
The Associate Director, International Channel Performance and Market Insights provides tailored market and business intelligence insights to drive decisions for the University's international recruitment and admissions functions.
You will play a critical role in analysing data on market entry, prioritisation, partnerships, competitor insights, student yield, and education agent performance. You will work with key colleagues to set performance targets, monitor progress, and develop forecasting models to optimise international student recruitment. Additionally, you will oversee the development and management of the University's international admissions system, StudyLink Connect, ensuring it supports business intelligence activities and streamlines admissions processes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require the ability to:
• Lead a team of analysts, and ensure the effective management of the team, as well as projects and resourcing requirements within the team, and will meet the University’s needs according to the five-year strategic plan and annual mission and budget.
• Establish and maintain a profile within the University as the international student business intelligence and admissions system expert and represent the University at appropriate external forums and meetings.
• Lead change through influence, focusing team efforts on delivering business value and enhancing the customer experience.
• Build capability and manage talent within the team to support growth and succession planning through the University’s activities and frameworks including performance and development, culture, and engagement.
• Lead the development, delivery, and interpretation of market and internal business intelligence required for Swinburne’s annual international student recruitment strategy and the ongoing review of recruitment and admissions performance.

Qualifications
• Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
• Demonstrated strategic, analytical, and conceptual skills with the ability to structure and convert strategies into compelling and achievable work programs
