- Base salary range: $108,509 – $128,404 p.a. plus 17% superannuation

The Department of Economics is one of the leading centres for economic research and education in Australia and in the Indo-Pacific region. Our members publish in leading international journals in many economic areas including economic growth, health, development, labour, migration, public, natural resource and environment economics. You are expected to make outstanding contributions to research, deliver high-quality teaching and supervision at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and contribute with departmental services within the School in accordance with University rules, its code of conduct and its academic mission. Selection Criteria
To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate:
- PhD or near completion in economics and/or econometrics.
- Ability to undertake high quality research in economics or or econometrics and publish in leading international peer-reviewed journals.
- Evidence of high-quality teaching at tertiary level.
- Willingness to contribute collaboratively to academic governance and department administrative matters.
We welcome candidates undertaking research in the field of applied econometrics, econometrics, and related fields such as data science and data analytics. We particularly welcome applications from women and minorities.
