About the position

This position provides a range of support and advice to business units and Finance Division in the management of the University’s financial obligations to internal and external stakeholders. This includes the coordination and production of timely and accurate financial, taxation and management transactions, analysis and reporting; budgeting, general ledger account reconciliations; and core finance system maintenance and integrity.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have;

  • A degree with subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working in an accounting position that required the development of forecasts, budgets and financial plans within a complex operating environment.
  • Proven written communication skills that enable clear and articulate presentation of information in a meaningful and usable form.
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
